| The department offers a part-time degree in
Master of Technology (M.Tech.), which is jointly run with the Institute of Systems Science
(ISS) and the School of Computing (SOC) in National University of Singapore. This program
is meant to be a graduate upgrading course in software and knowledge engineering. The
period of candidature stretches from a minimum of 2.5 years to a maximum of 5 years. In
terms of course structure, candidates are required to take 4 core units (conducted by
ISS), 4 elective units (conducted by ISS), 3 advanced elective units (conducted by
Electrical Engineering/SOC) and 1 project. For more information on application,
